Ayrwll leaves the United Nations

For reasons of international affairs, the Neutral Republic of Ayrwll regrets to announce it will have to temporarily, indefinitely withdraw from the United Nations. This will be accompanied by our loss of a vote in any UN resolution in the meantime, as well as our withdrawal of all endorsements that have been extended to other UN nations in California.
Nonetheless, I (Sen. Arashal) shall remain at the United Nations HQ and continue to join any discussions representing Ayrwll as a guest nation. Also, if this is allowed, we shall continue to add Ayrwll's voice to any regional referenda that might yet come up.

North Pacific Clears Banlist only to Refill it.
The delegate of the North Pacific has, in line with recent negotiations, cleared the list of banned nations, thereby creating shock throughout the region. Some wonder whether the dictator has come to his senses, others decry this as an empty show of goodwill.
Mere hours later, the Good Dictator of TNP has refilled the ban list anew. There is little doubt now about his intentions.

Within the North Pacific, stunning news unfurled.
Stars of Sky, a member of the current ruling party and fourth in place for the delegate position (see our previous article on this subject), has only hours ago been ejected and banned from the region following allegations of treason. We continue to investigate.
Additional information:
On the Directorate's forums, a thread indicates that this ejection was premeditated neither by law nor decree, but arbitrarily decided on-the-spot by Moldavi. SoS, though being herself a member of the Directorate and present on the s4 forums, has received no prior warning.
We are witnessing paranoia to the extreme.

We are looking at temperatures of twelve to fourteen degrees, but a clouded sky with the occasional thunderstorm.
Nyrmal, however, owes a favor to the weather gods - From the Deridan woods to Dawn's Landing, there will be a clear sky with only the occasional clouds in the north, and temperatures above twenty degrees! If you intend to make a trip to the South, this weekend is the time to do it.

Sunday, Bermelon 24, 967Temperatures in Nyrmal now rise to above twenty degrees, as the sky clears up further. The weather in Araniil returns to normal, mild and cloudy, while Akiir continues to suffer heavy rainfall.
Monday, Bermelon 25, 967We would hardly believe it, but all signs indicate that Lothrin and Karnet, and other cities closer to the Angranakh, will have slight snowfall on this day! Snow in April! Temperatures drop below zero in places.
Tuesday, Bermelon 26, 967Low Janis makes her exit in the Angranakh by pulling up a storm throughout the edge of Northern Reaches. Thankfully, after this week weather looks brighter again. As it does in Nyrmal today, where one might think Summer had begun already.
Wednesday, Bermelon 27Mild drizzle all over Araniil in the morning. Partly clouded sky in Nyrmal, but the temperature remains above twenty degrees.

ADN & Allies Raise Alert Level
In the wake of the recent developments in TNP, members of ADN have been raising their alert level and tensing regional security.It is toward ADN that attention is now drawn within this huge international gamble. The stakes are high, and so is the power of the players. We have the Meritocracy, ruled by Moldavi who is also the ruler of TNP and the second most powerful delegate of NationStates, we have the North Pacific Directorate, and we have the Alliance Defense Network, arguably the largest defender alliance within NationStates. It is no secret that the relation between ADN and the Meritocracy has not always been friendly. Indeed, some conspiracy theories even now propose that Moldavi has taken over the North Pacific for no other reason than to harm the ADN, with which the North Pacific Directorate broke contact with almost immediately.

The Nasicournian Security Council, acting on an emergency proposal, has rasied the regional threat level to Level Alef, the highest threat level of the NTLS. This was done because of a combination of factors, including the recent ejections in the North Pacific and the current liberation mission in the region Palestine, where ADN forces are under attack from the Union of Sovereigns. In addition, unsubstantiated intelligence shows that ADN member regions and allies face an immanent invasion threat in the very near future.
NTL Alef requires a total lockdown of all regional borders and daily password changes to ensure total regional security. Note that if you leave Nasicournia during NTL Alef there is a possibility that you will not be allowed back in. Also to be noted is the increasingly hostile stance with which the NPD views the Confederation. Confederate members even now interpret this as a sign that the NPD is panicking, and going on an extermination spree with the last shreds of their power, while the official stance of the Directorate is that they have decided to "finally" take decisive action and battle the underground.
We have taken a strong step forward to peace. The puppets of the criminal underground, mostly belonging to Tresville, Flemingovia and Romanoffia are being removed.

Oh my that of the criminal mind in TNP seems slow to react. Unable to even raise your own defense within your trial period.

The fact that the Court of the Directorate gave non-attending defendants a total of five minutes to answer charges, and then sentenced them in absentio with no option to appeal, is a clear indicator of the current state of policies. The nation of Ayrwll is watching this matter with great interest.
Ominous Rumbles in the North Pacific

Recent events indicate that the opposing forces of the North Pacific are about to clash. To give our readers a little background: For the past months, the regional delegacy, and with it the sovereign government, has been held by the nation of Pixiedance, ruled over by the infamous Ivan Moldavi, called by many, fearfully, reverently or hatefully, "The Minister". Under him reigns the party he has set up, the North Pacific Directorate, or NPD. This power, arguably a dictatorship of the first degree, has consistently been opposed by the North Pacific Confederation (formerly the North Pacific Underground), who are attempting to remove Pixiedance from power and return the region of 8160 nations to a democratic government.
The situation is coming to a head as the delegate rapidly loses support in the region (a loss of more than thirty national endorsements, down to 515, this week alone), and all are preparing for a possible change of power.
The most aspiring candidates, currently, are:

This is especially precarious because the top two of these three are themselves ministers of the NPD. Poltsamaa is Minister of Regional Assembly, and Insane Power is the Minister of Cooperation.
