From the Bureau of Intelligence, Concerning the Directorate

Also to be noted is the increasingly hostile stance with which the NPD views the Confederation. Confederate members even now interpret this as a sign that the NPD is panicking, and going on an extermination spree with the last shreds of their power, while the official stance of the Directorate is that they have decided to "finally" take decisive action and battle the underground.

We have taken a strong step forward to peace. The puppets of the criminal underground, mostly belonging to Tresville, Flemingovia and Romanoffia are being removed.
-- the Regional Breaking News

Several regions have moved to condemn the Directorate for its policies, openly lending support to the exiled Confederation.

Our thoughts and hopes lie with the freedom fighters working to restore democracy to The North Pacific. They have been oppressed for too long. They deserve a government that is responsive to their needs and their concerns. [...]

For three brutal months, the NPD has cast a shadow of totalitarian darkness. It has [...] manipulated both friend and foe in an unprecedented quest for power. [...] we call upon Moldavi and his administration to step down from the delegacy, and let The North Pacific be run by those from The North Pacific once again.

-- the Council of Equilism

There comes a time in every region’s history when those of good conscience can no longer sit idly by and watch as a Dictator sews discord and dissension throughout the NS world, when a stand must be made against the perpetuation of such destructive ideals. A time when wrongs must be tallied and wrong-doers condemned. A time when strong words and actions must serve as a shield against the wrongful acts of a totalitarian regime.

We, The West Pacific, strongly condemn the North Pacific Directorate [...] as despots and traitors to The North Pacific; [...] thus we earnestly hope that [...] residents of The North Pacific may again rule their sovereign region in peace and prosperity.

-- the West Pacific

Nasicournia considers the NPD and the officials that support this illegitimate government to be a clear and present danger to all peace and sovereignty advocates, and henceforth declares those noted nations to be enemies of the region of Nasicournia.

Meanwhile, the zero-tolerance policy is being expressed in the treason trials held against members of the confederation. Our field agent was able to acquire transcripts from several such trials, which are quoted below, verbatim.

Section 2: Major Offenses
a. seeking more endorsements than the allotted endorsement limit.
b. assisting in unendorsement campaigns against the Delegate.
c. assisting in espionage, rebellion or subversive actions against the North Pacific Directorate.

---Ivan Moldavi, The Minister, North Pacific Directorate, 29 Mar 2005, 20:24

---Insane Power, Acting Minister of Liberty, Apr 8 2005, 0:33

Oh my that of the criminal mind in TNP seems slow to react. Unable to even raise your own defense within your trial period.

You are therefore all guilty. I note that Hersfold and Tresville have additional nations in TNP. I will be taking this into account.

Case Closed.

Sentences to follow.

---Insane Power, Acting Minister of Liberty, Apr 8 2005, 0:38

Due to repeated offenses by the nations of Hersfold and Tresville and puppets thereof they and their puppets are sentenced to a regional ban and an immediate forum ban lasting no less than 60 days from the official Regional forum.
---Insane Power, Acting Minister of Liberty, Apr 8 2005, 1:21

The fact that the Court of the Directorate gave non-attending defendants a total of five minutes to answer charges, and then sentenced them in absentio with no option to appeal, is a clear indicator of the current state of policies. The nation of Ayrwll is watching this matter with great interest.
